HS Softball: Tri-Valley defeats Nativity

POTTSVILLE — Mady Schwalm hit for the cycle as Tri-Valley topped Nativity 22-2 in three innings Wednesday in a Schuylkill League Division II game atop Lawton’s Hill.
Schwalm finished 4-for-4 with four RBIs and four runs scored. She hit an RBI double and a two-run triple in the first inning, a single in the second inning and a solo home run to lead off the third.
Alina Leonard also had a big day for the Dawgs, going 3-for-3 with three runs scored and four RBIs. She hit a two-run home run in the second inning. Myah Schwalm added a 2-for-3 day with two runs and an RBI, while winning pitcher Kora Rodichok went 2-for-2 with two RBIs.

Rodichok pitched the first two innings with six strikeouts.
