HS Baseball Roundup: Tri-Valley earns first win of the season

HEGINS — Jack Wehry went 3-for-3, scored three runs, doubled, and added two RBIs as Tri-Valley rolled past Line Mountain 13-2 in five innings in a non-league game Tuesday at Tri-Valley High School.
Peyton Schley pitched three innings, allowed no hits, struck out seven and took home the win for the Dawgs.
Tri-Valley had no problems putting up offense. Owen Miller, Jason Stewart, Braeden Doyle and Bailey Clark each tallied two RBIs a piece for the Dawgs. Stewart had a solo homerun to left field in the bottom of the fourth inning.

PINE GROVE — Riverside scored six runs in the top of the seventh inning to topple Pine Grove in a non-league game.
The Cardinals led 10-5 entering the seventh. Carson Lengle went 3-for-3 with four RBIs for Pine Grove. Jake Hatter and Wyatt Dixon both had two hits, while Quinn Brommer added a double.

Aidan Grace went 2-for-4 at the plate for the Eagle and added a double. Josh Hoover also doubled.
