Rematch of non-league regular-season game won 35-32 by Marian on Jan. 3 in Schuylkill Haven. Addy Fritz had 14 points and Deanna Pugh made key steal late in game to give Fillies the victory. Conti paced the Spartans in both games, scoring 18 and 16. Capone had 17 in first meeting, while Kane tallied 12 in second clash. …. Millie Black has had two big games vs. North Schuylkill, racking up a pair of double-doubles: 10 points, 22 rebounds and 10 points, 14 rebounds. Ligenza had 10 points in first meeting and 13 rebounds in second game. …. For Tamaqua to flip the script, Blue Raiders must be able to handle North Schuylkill’s guard pressure, limit turnovers and dominate the paint, capitalizing on scoring chances down low. …. Spartans need solid efforts on the boards from Stitzer and Kane and give Conti chances to create in the open floor. …. Free-throw shooting could be key factor here as well.
