POTTSVILLE — Kelly Reiner scored four of her game-high 13 points in the decisive fourth quarter as Weatherly edged Nativity 22-18 in a Schuylkill League Division II girls’ basketball game Wednesday night atop Lawton’s Hill.
The Golden Girls had tied the game at 16-16 entering the fourth before Reiner’s buckets put the Wreckers ahead to stay.
Finley McNamara had eight points and Kylah Stewart tallied six for Nativity.

FOUNTAIN SPRINGS — Jadelin Stitzer scored a team-high 18 points and Hannah Kane added 16 as the Spartans saw their six-game win streak come to an end with a non-league loss to Pittston at the Cesari-Hope Gymnasium.
Stitzer scored eight of her points in the second quarter and added five more in the third to keep North Schuylkill close after falling behind 15-9 in the first quarter.
Pittston’s Daniella Raneli scorched the nets for 29 points, hitting three of the Patriots’ seven 3-pointers.

Kylla Sandri added 19 points and Anna Keer tallied 13 for Lourdes, which won for the 11th time in 13 games. The Red Raiders took control with a 20-4 run in the second quarter.

HEGINS — Shazier Bethea buried four 3-pointers and scored a game-high 26 points as the Miners rolled past the Dawgs in a non-league matchup of two Schuylkill League playoff qualifiers.
Bethea had all his points in the first three quarters as Minersville built a 46-24 lead. Bradley Kostishak added 16 points for the Miners, who have won six straight and 15 of their last 16.
Braeden Doyle paced Tri-Valley with 10 points.
