Marian's Lydia Strucko

TAMAQUA — For the second time in four days, Marian’s Lydia Strucko put herself in the Tamaqua pool record book.

Strucko broke her own pool mark in the 100-yard butterfly in Tuesday’s Schuylkill League girls’ swimming dual meet against Tamaqua. Strucko’s time of 59.85 eclipsed her mark of 1:01.06 set Saturday.

Savannah Wilson (200 IM, 500 free) won a pair of events and swam on two winning relays as the Blue Raiders defeated the Fillies 102-47. Ava Jones (100 free) and Katie Behun (200 free) each won an individual event and both swam on two winning relays for the Blue Raiders (12-2, 9-1 SL).

Strucko won two individual events for the Fillies (1-9, 1-9), also winning the 50 freestyle. Zoey Katona (100 breast) and Delaney Erickson (100 back) added individual wins and the Fillies took first in the 400 freestyle relay.

Cali Stauffer (100 free) won an individual event and swam on both winning relays for the Hurricanes (8-4, 5-4).

Lillian Brown (50 free, 100 back) won a pair of events for the Golden Bears (0-10, 0-10), while Lexi Chilinskas took first in the 100 breaststroke.
