HS Swimming: Eagles, Tide, Raiders roll to swim sweeps

POTTSVILLE — Five different swimmers earned individual victories to lead Pottsville to a 104-64 win over North Schuylkill in a Schuylkill League boys’ swimming dual meet Thursday at the Ned Hampford Natatorium.
Adam Klinger (diving), John Mohl (100 fly), Jamison Walsh (100 free), Caiden Wright (500 free) and Marty Davis (100 breast) captured victories for the Crimson Tide (7-1, 6-1 SL), who swept all three relays.
Gavin Mentzer (50 free, 100 back) won twice for North Schuylkill (5-3, 4-3), while Chase Meyers (200 free) and David Luna (200 IM) notched victories.

Porter Sarnes (100 fly) and Zach Scala (100 breast) added wins for Blue Mountain (8-1, 7-0 SL), which swept all three relays.
Michael Strucko (200 free, 500 free) won the distance events for Marian (1-5, 1-5).

Vinny Valentine (50 free) and Nicholas Barron (100 breast) each won an individual event for Tamaqua (2-7-1, 2-3-1).
Blake Brown (100 free, 100 back) won twice for Mahanoy Area.
