ORWIGSBURG — Sage Kaplafka had herself a day Monday afternoon at the Glen Belmont Natatorium.

The Blue Mountain senior won a pair of individual events and swam on two winning relays as the Eagles stayed unbeaten with a 118-65 victory over Tamaqua in a matchup of Schuylkill League girls’ swimming unbeatens.

In the process, Kaplafka scored the 1,000th point of her career.

Kaplafka won the 100-yard freestyle and 100 backstroke and swam a leg on the Eagles’ winning 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams.

Julia Crossen (200 free, 500 free) was also a double-winner for Blue Mountain (6-0, 5-0 SL), which won nine of 12 events. Lola Machamer (50 free), Hailey Scheuer (diving) and Alayna Hensel (100 fly) also won individual events.

Savannah Wilson (200 IM, 100 breast) won two events and swam on the winning 200 freestyle relay for Tamaqua (5-2, 4-1 SL).

It was Blue Mountain’s 105th straight Schuylkill League girls’ dual-meet victory, a streak that dates back to 2013.

On the boys’ side, Blue Mountain completed the sweep with a 117-47 victory.

Brody Moyer (200 free, 500 free), Porter Sarnes (50 free, 100 fly), Noah Powers (200 IM, 100 back) each won two individual events, while Gabe Kamarousky (100 free) and Aidan Varney (100 breast) also notched wins.

Vinny Valentine took first in diving for Tamaqua (1-5-1, 1-3-1).
