Swimming Roundup: Klinger breaks Pottsville’s 6-dive school record in win

POTTSVILLE — Adam Klinger broke the Pottsville six-dive school record Thursday as the Crimson Tide defeated Marian 104-32 in a Schuylkill League boys’ swimming dual meet at the Ned Hampford Natatorium.
Klinger scored 252.75 points, beating previous record holder Marcus Stagliano’s mark of 252.65 from 1995.
Noah Bevan (50 free, 100 free), Caden Wright (200 free), Marty Davis (100 breast) and Logan Strauss (500 free) added wins for the Crimson Tide (4-1, 4-1 SL), which swept all three relays.
Michael Strucko (200 IM, 100 back) notched two individual victories for the Colts (1-3, 1-3).
