Blue Mountain climbs back on top Sports Now Super 7 Poll

Blue Mountain is back on top of the T102SportsNow.com Super 7 high school football poll for Week 8.

The Eagles improved to 6-1 with a 55-14 victory Friday over Lehighton. Blue Mountain was atop the poll for two weeks, Weeks 3 and 4, earlier in the season before losing to Northwestern Lehigh. The Eagles will put their No. 1 ranking on the line Thursday when they host No. 6 North Schuylkill at 7 p.m. at the Eagles’ Nest.

Last week’s No. 1, Tamaqua (6-1), fell to No. 3 after losing 43-7 to Southern Lehigh. Schuylkill Haven (6-1) moved up one spot from No. 3 to No. 2 after blanking Marian 36-0.

Williams Valley (6-1), Nativity (6-1), North Schuylkill (4-3) and Pottsville (3-4) round out this week’s poll, while Tri-Valley (5-2) also garnered votes.
