Raiders, Eagles remain 1-2 in Super 7 poll

Tamaqua and Blue Mountain remained the top two teams in the weekly T102 SportsNow Super 7 high school football for Week 7 in voting done by three T102SportsNow.com writers and the broadcast anchors for WPPA and T-102.

The Blue Raiders are the area’s only unbeaten team after their 51-0 dismantling of Bangor and Williams Valley’s 38-30 loss to Schuylkill Haven. The Eagles improved to 5-1 with a 63-13 rout of Palisades.

Schuylkill Haven and Williams Valley flipped spots, as the Hurricanes climbed to No. 3 and the Vikings dropped to No. 4. Nativity remained at No. 5 while Pottsville joined the Super 7 in a tie for sixth with North Schuylkill. Minersville dropped out of this week’s poll.

All seven teams in this week’s SportsNow Super 7 poll are on the road this week.
