Williams Valley Marching Band presents ‘Aladdin’

The Williams Valley Viking Pride Marching Band features songs from "Aladdin'' this season.

The 2024 Williams Valley Viking Pride Marching Band is proud to present this season’s show: “Aladdin.”

Join them in the exotic lands of Agrabah for an outstanding arrangement by John Moss of music from one of the most popular Disney animated features, including: “Arabian Nights”; “One Jump Ahead”; “A Whole New World”; “Prince Ali”; and “Friend Like Me”.  This is “Aladdin”!

The Williams Valley Viking Pride Marching Band includes 28 students in grades 7-12. The band performs at all home and away football games this season as well as at the Gratz Fair on Sept. 20 and at various parades and pep rallies throughout the fall season. 

The band competes in the Tournament of Bands Competition Circuit and will take the field at Shamokin on Sept. 28, at Halifax on Oct. 5, at North Schuylkill on Oct. 19 and at Hershey for the Atlantic Coast Championships on Nov. 3.

Leading the band are drum majors Alden Bressler, Hana Alvord and Ayden Klinger.

The drumline captain is  Trevor Dehart. Silkline captains are Roxie Machamer and Paige Rivera; and the featured twirler is Gabby Duprez.

The band director is Matthew Paul Haas, and Shawn Estes is the assistant director. Heather Estes is the colorguard advisor, with Roxie Machamer and Paige Rivera the silkline choreographers. Gabby Duprez is the majorette choreographer.

The band wishes to express its appreciation to the school board, administration, faculty and staff of the Williams Valley School District for their continuing support of music education in the Valley, and sends a hearty “thank you” to all of the Band Boosters, parents and community volunteers whose dedication and commitment have been instrumental in making the program possible.
